Hank Leahy is currently based in Los Angeles while he pursues a BFA in photography at Loyola Marymount University. Born and raised in the Chicago area, Hank was introduced to photography in high school when he was gifted his first camera. Since then, he has been developing his technical skills in both film and digital photography while finding his voice and vision. Hank prefers to use traditional analogue processes to create his photographs.

Hank’s work covers a wide range of subject matter, but primarily documentary, portraiture, and landscape. Hank is interested in the complex relationship that photography has with time and place. Further, his work hopes to explore what makes us human.
